Job description

Responsibilities
• Shall provide ARD data to assist with all IT and IA requirements; documents required to maintain Risk
Management Framework (RMF) accreditation shall be provided on an annual basis or as needed basis within
five days of request
• Configure, operate and sustain the DAMIS system in a IAAS cloud environment, currently Microsoft Azure,
consisting of a multi-schema Oracle database supporting 14 or more applications/tools
• shall operate and maintain network computing devices consisting of oracle databases, virtual servers
(Microsoft and Linux), proxies, firewalls, Intrusion Detection software, logging tools, data connections and
internet gateways.
• Shall continually monitor data integrity and consistency of all databases, immediately notify the government
point of contact if any database discrepancies are noted.
• Monitor the results of all database update processes, provide data base administration and system
administration on all business application
• Manage the storage of data on storage devices. Monitor usage of devices through the use of Government
approved software utilities. Implement measures to maintain and improve system performance.

• Perform technical services to archive, retrieve, back-up and restore for system libraries and users.
Recommend acquisition/release of storage devices as necessary to match load.
• Perform system security tasks to include data integrity and access control, deliver a database quality control
status at the bi-weekly meetings.
Key Skills
• Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent knowledge and
experience.
• Must have at least 5 years as a lead Oracle DBA,
• Must have at least 5 years of production Oracle DBA support
• Must have at least 3 years managing an oracle database in Microsoft Azure Cloud in an Infrastructure As A
Service (IAAS) environment.
• Needs to have a strong understanding of Oracle 19c, be proficient with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and SQL
statement tunning, solid understanding of Linux and RedHat, monitoring, maintaining, patching and tuning a
production database environment, strong in advanced data replication, data backup and recovery, disaster
recovery planning, database performance tuning, capacity planning, monitoring, and management
• Strong oral/written communication, customer interface skills, and familiarity with DoD security standards
and implementation guidelines (STIGs).
