In-House Recruiter / Recruiting Assistant

Company: Pita Way
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, approximately 40 hours per week
Pay: $20-$30 per hour, depending on experience
Work Location: In-house to start, with the possibility of a hybrid or fully remote arrangement as you become established in the role. Remote work is not guaranteed.

Position Overview

Pita Way is looking for a motivated, organized, and people-focused In-House Recruiter / Recruiting Assistant to join our growing team.

With approximately 50 locations and continued expansion ahead, recruiting is a critical part of our operation. This position will work directly under our Director of Recruiting and help identify, attract, screen, and coordinate candidates for positions throughout the company.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in recruiting and human resources while being part of a rapidly growing organization. As Pita Way continues opening new locations, there will be opportunities for increased responsibility and advancement within the recruiting department.

Responsibilities
  • Recruit candidates for Pita Way locations across our growing organization

  • Post and maintain job openings across recruiting platforms

  • Review applications and resumes

  • Conduct initial phone screenings and candidate interviews

  • Identify qualified candidates and move them efficiently through the hiring process

  • Schedule interviews with hiring managers and store leadership

  • Follow up with candidates throughout the recruiting process

  • Maintain organized candidate records and recruiting pipelines

  • Communicate regularly with the Director of Recruiting regarding staffing needs and hiring priorities

  • Assist with recruiting efforts for new store openings

  • Help maintain adequate staffing levels across approximately 50 locations

  • Build relationships with candidates and provide a professional candidate experience

  • Assist with recruiting reports, tracking, and administrative responsibilities

  • Support additional recruiting and hiring initiatives as the company continues to grow

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable communicating with a high volume of people, and able to manage multiple priorities at once.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Recruiting, staffing, HR, sales, customer service, or management experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfortable conducting phone interviews and speaking with candidates throughout the day

  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills

  • Ability to manage multiple job openings and candidates simultaneously

  • Comfortable working with recruiting software, job boards, spreadsheets, and other technology

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

  • Professional, dependable, and results-oriented

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-growing environment

Previous recruiting experience is preferred, but we are open to candidates with strong transferable experience and the ability to learn quickly.

Compensation & Benefits
  • $20-$30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
