Position Overview

Polara Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote team in Miami, Florida. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in enhancing mental health outcomes for individuals, families, and groups within our community. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, providing you with the flexibility to manage your schedule and work from the comfort of your home. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for a balance of professional obligations and personal life. As part of a cohesive team, you will leverage digital tools and teletherapy platforms to deliver high-quality service to clients across diverse settings.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

  • Evaluate mental health conditions to provide accurate diagnoses and develop comprehensive treatment plans that serve the needs of your clients.
  • Maintain a busy caseload of 25-30 client sessions per week, ensuring thorough documentation by completing treatment plan reviews, case notes, and other necessary records according to company standards.
  • Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing innovative and creative interventions to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals.
  • Coordinate care with case managers, families, and other professionals, ensuring comprehensive support networks are in place for each client.
  • Uphold a high standard of client satisfaction through compassionate service and responsiveness to client needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, couples, and families facing various challenges. You will be well-versed in both individual and systemic therapy approaches, enabling you to provide culturally sensitive care that addresses the unique needs of each client.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
  • Solid understanding of family therapy services and familiarity with local community resources.
  • Proficiency in mental health documentation and previous experience developing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain appropriate boundaries and foster a trusting therapeutic relationship.
  • Capacity to comfortably engage with a broad spectrum of clients from various backgrounds.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check.
Preferred Experience

While the minimum qualifications detail essential skills, preference will be given to candidates who have:

  • Previous experience working with cases involving trauma and addiction.
  • A background in managing telehealth therapy sessions and using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.
  • Practice in community outreach and engagement with local resources to enhance therapeutic support.
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this position will range from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, depending on qualifications and relevant experience. We offer a competitive and customizable compensation plan that includes:
