PRST is seeking an experienced Bags-On SUPERINTENDENT to join a custom home contractor in Mill Valley/Marin County, CA, specializing in luxury custom home construction.

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced superintendent responsible for overseeing daily jobsite operations, coordinating crews and subcontractors, maintaining schedules, be able to read plans, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. 

Must have great leadership ability to manage and run crews while remaining hands-on with daily work. Candidates should bring 5+ years of custom residential carpentry experience, including framing, finish, and detailed woodwork. The ideal candidate can interpret blueprints, oversee daily site activities, ensure top-tier craftsmanship, and maintain schedules while promoting safety and efficiency on the job site.

This Superintendent will spend a certain portion of his day swinging hammer, he/she would spend the rest of his days managing and directing subcontractors as well as our own crew, staffing building inspections, putting together materials take offs and orders, meeting daily with our project manager to check on compliance with budget and schedule.

This role is a temporary to permament position and will start with an hourly wage of $50-$56 for the first 6 months to try out.  Then will offer $120k-$150k pending how well you work out.

  • 5+ years of custom residential carpentry experience, with proven Superintendent or supervisory experience

  • Ability to lead, train, and motivate crews while working hands-on

  • Strong communication and organizational skills for coordinating with contractors and clients

  • Proficiency with tools, materials, and construction methods for high-end homes

  • Reliable transportation to Marin County job sites

  • OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain is a plus
