Job description

Title: Faith Coordinator- North Campus
Reports to: Principal
Job Goal: The Faith Coordinator supports the spiritual life of the school by coordinating liturgical celebrations, sacramental preparation opportunities, and prayer experiences for students and staff. This role works closely with teachers and leadership to ensure that faith formation is thoughtfully integrated into the life of the school community.
Performance Responsibilities:
Liturgical Coordination
Plan and coordinate school Masses in collaboration with teachers and parish clergy
Prepare Mass schedules, readings, student roles, and music selections
Support teachers and students in understanding and participating in the liturgy
Sacramental Preparation Support
Coordinate opportunities for student participation in the Sacrament of Reconciliation
Work with parish staff and teachers to schedule and organize reconciliation services
Help prepare students for participation in the sacrament in age-appropriate ways
Prayer & Faith Life
Plan and coordinate special prayer services throughout the school year (Advent, Lent, holy days, and other liturgical seasons)
Collaborate with teachers to incorporate prayer and faith experiences into classrooms
Provide resources and guidance to support the school's Catholic identity
Job Qualifications:
Practicing Catholic in good standing, committed to the mission of Catholic education
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, parish staff, and students
Must have strong commitment to Catholic education and model behavior in accordance with Holy Family Regional School mission and philosophy.
Understand and abide by the Archdiocese of Detroit contract for employment and the specifications it contains regarding the expectations of a Catholic school employee.
Education and Experience:
Catechetical certification (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe)
Experience in liturgy, ministry, or Catholic school settings preferred
Work Schedule:
Part-time; hourly; schedule aligned with the school calendar. Occasional availability during school Masses, reconciliation services, and special liturgical events required.
