ABOUT THE ROLE
Amrize, formerly known as Aggregate Industries, operates seven regional construction materials businesses in theUnited States. The core business of producing crushed stone and sand & gravel is enhanced by downstreamoperations that produce ready mixed concrete, asphalt, and concrete products. In addition, recycling, liquidasphalt, soil remediation and retailing businesses are also in operation, creating true, vertically integrated divisions.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Knowledge of and ability to operate several pieces of dirt work equipment including, but not limited to Dozer,Track loader, Excavator, Skidsteer, Tractor, and Backhoe.
  • Assists crew in daily operations on assigned job sites.
  • Responsible for maintaining the appearance of the plant and yard area by using general housekeepingpractices.
  • Perform assignments outlined by supervisors and standard procedures are followed in the performance of duties.
  • Work is inspected periodically for safety and economy in operation.
  • Perform pre-shift inspections onmobile equipment.
  • Performs emergency and routine repairs and maintenance on plant equipment and structures at the sitelocations.
  • May perform routine preventative maintenance on mobile equipment, such as lubricating, fueling,and cleaning.
  • Conducts routine inspections of plant and mobile equipment.
  • Grease and fuel mobile equipment.
  • Follows all safety, compliance and environmental requirements in alignment with company standards.
  • To act in a safe manner, aware and willing to act upon observing any unsafe practices.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on mobile equipment and conducts routine inspections on mobileequipment.
  • Must be detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

  • Requires one year of experience as a heavy equipment operator.
  • Manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, good physical fitness, a good sense of balance, and an ability towork as a member of a team.

Additional Requirements:
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
