Job Description:
The Administrative Specialist is directly responsible to the Director of Financial Services. The Administrative Specialist is responsible for administrative duties within the Financial Services department, completion of annual statistical surveys, annual preparation of the Report on Community Benefits, managing the corporate credit card program, and assistance with due diligence requirements for the Montage Health system.
Experience
Three years of secretarial experience. Computer skills required. Working knowledge of office equipment. Basic knowledge of hospital policies, procedures and regulations, general office equipment, and secretarial procedures. Basic knowledge of medical terminology, word processing and transcription. Proficiency in utilizing electronic systems, such as word processing, spreadsheet, database or e-mail programs for routine correspondence and reports, mass mailings, and simple formulas and setups. Good communication and written business English skills required. Good organizational skills, utilizing time in a very productive manner.
Maintains a high level of professionalism, safeguarding and preserving the confidentiality of all information. Ability to relate well to others.
Education
High school diploma or G.E.D. required. Some college or business courses preferred.
