Job description

Summary:

Coordinates daily activities of the Mail Room, coordinates staff, resources and production activities of mail and document services which includes the processing and delivery of inbound and outbound USPS mail and small packages.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinates the work flow of mail and small packages & document services establishing suitable priorities.
2. Monitors and controls the inventory & purchase of supplies.
3. Ensures that maintenance schedules for equipment and machines are observed. Responsible for the safe and continuous operation of the mail room software and equipment to ensure that mail timelines and accounting requirements are carried out. Prepares reports from mail room equipment to track activities and costs. Provides monthly report to the Finance Dept to insure accurate charging process.
4. Establishes department standards to ensure a level of quality service.
5. Participates in establishment and achievement of department goals.
6. Achieves the organization's established expectations with regard to quality service.
7. Works with the United States Postal Service to coordinate activities between WCHN and the Post Office. Handles set up and maintenance of post office boxes and specialized mailing requirements.
8. Maintains a working knowledge of the US Postal regulation, is responsible for FedEx mailing activities, coordinates activities between Corporate Mailing Services Vendor and WCHN.
9. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education Skills Experience:

HS GRAD/EQUIVALENT
