Job description

Our 250+ local customer service centers (CSCs) are supported by regional operations teams located throughout North America.
Major Responsibilities
  • Workplace safety will be exercised at all times.
  • Every possible means to perform the work efficiently will be enforced.
  • Oversee the technicians to make sure day to day responsibilities are carried out
  • The training and procedures of dismantling the assets
  • Exhibits the highest ethical best practices and personal integrity; Shares concerns about suspicious or inappropriate behavior with their supervisor or manager
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Process include
    Must be Familiar with Noregon laptop and engine / transmission diagnostic
    • removal of certain parts as indicated on work orders
    • inspecting for quality control all parts inventoried (both warehouse and yard parts)
    • Marking all parts removed with vehicle stock#, then attaching correct tag.
    • Putting parts away into warehouse, scanning locations with barcode reader if applicable
    • Updating computer with completed vehicle status, vehicle location, parts locations, and updated quality control information.
      SAFETY
  1. All appropriate workplace health and safety standards will be followed. This includes (but is not limited to) company safety policies and OSHA standards.
  2. Each week, perform an inspection of your workplace and equipment to determine if all is well or if something needs attention
  3. Forklift operating license will have to be achieved.
    Quality Control
  4. Provide management confidence in the accuracy of the inventory information by confirming that the information is accurate in oracle.
  5. During the vehicle dismantling process, evaluate each inventoried part per our quality standards.
  6. When parts found to be not of quality or in a different condition than described on the dismantle orders
    1. Make appropriate notes on the work orders to document what you found.
  7. If parts are to be placed in the warehouse, attach the correct tag.
  8. Parts that do no longer meet our quality control standards and are considered unusable are to be deleted from inventory.
  9. Once all parts are removed, bus will be scrapped

  • 1-3 years of automotive or diesel experience preferred
  • Must be proficient in work and excel
  • Vocational or Technical certification and preferably ASE certifications
  • Working knowledge in the use of hand tools required
  • Have a valid driver's license
