Job Summary
  • Work requires assembly skills of high level, with aid of good hand & eye coordination, variety of hand tools & simple test equipment.
  • Sufficient understanding of the functional operation of lightning strip assemblies to help with finishing touches in the assembly process.
  • Understanding the physicality/concepts of lightning strips will help support various quality control tasks during production runs.
  • Work typically involves a wide variety of operations with lots of moving parts with very long work cycles.
  • May be responsible for final assembly or production build-up of complete units.
  • Must be able to work from & comprehend electronic schematics, final assembly blueprints with minimum supervision.
  • Must have good judgment in planning work sequences and determining the workability of the completed item.
  • Should be capable of working with design & manufacturing engineers. Communicate & deliver to their expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Able to read andinterpret documents such as, blueprints or mechanical drawings.
  • Ability to add,subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,common fractions, and decimals.
  • Abilityto apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished inwritten, oral or diagram form.
  • Mustcomplete all assigned paperwork.
  • Must be available to work OT as needed.

Required Experience and Education
  • Vocational,High school diploma, or general education degree (GED); or 5 years relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, andexperience.
