Job description

DCX-CHOL Enterprises Inc. is a leading source for high performance interconnect products. We design, engineer, and produce cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, conduit assemblies, custom connectors, wire enclosures and much more!

We are privately held American owned small business made up of five (5) vertically integrated manufacturing and assembly divisions, each with their own history, specializations and products.

We are looking for experienced Production Assembler (Braizing) with the following qualifications:

JOB SUMMARY

The Production Assembler (Braizing) performs brazing (torch and induction) of ferrous and non-ferrous metal alloys for critical and non-critical fittings and structural and non-critical structural applications in accordance with military, aerospace and or other assembly standards using visual aids and verbal written instructions.

SCHEDULE/COMPENSATION

  • Monday through Thursday (4-Day, 40-Hour Workweek)
    • 6:00AM - 4:30PM
    • Possible OT on Friday and/or Saturday as production demands require
  • Pay: Hourly $18 - $20/hr DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Ability to Read & Interpret Blueprints, Traveler/Routers, Bills of Material and check routers for errors.
  • Perform Ultra Sonic Cleaning.
  • Able to clean with Bernite 45 and use Bernite Flux Detection Kit and Scale Remover.
  • Perform Brazing of ferrous and non-ferrous metal allows. 
  • Brazing using oxygen propane gas mixture. 
  • Ability to apply and manage heat to bring joints into uniform, debur, file, buff and clean up finished parts.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Must be able to understand and follow verbal instructions and be detailed oriented.
  • Maintain a clean, safe well organized work-station through routine housekeeping.
  • Good eyesight and excellent finger dexterity - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a manufacturing / production environment. 

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Physical demands include the following but are not limited to: good mobility, physically able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, and capable of routinely bending to lift and move items up to 35 lbs.
