Automotive Sales Associate Job Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally
• Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate vehicles
• Present vehicle features, pricing, and financing options clearly
• Conduct test drives and vehicle walkarounds
• Follow up with customers to build long-term relationships
• Work closely with management, finance, and support staff
• Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals
• Maintain accurate customer information and documentation

Automotive Sales Associate Compensation and Benefits

The Sales Associate (Retail) position is paid on a pay scale that may include one or more of the following compensation elements:

• Hourly compensation, which varies based on experience, role level, and performance
• Commission compensation, which may be earned based on the value or amount of closed vehicle sales
• Commission compensation may be $0.00 if no sales are made, with no fixed upper limit other than sales performance

The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is $16.90 to $51.00 per hour. Actual compensation within this range will be determined by jobrelated factors such as experience, qualifications, performance, and business needs. Commission compensation is not guaranteed.

Automotive Sales Associate Qualifications

• Prior sales or customer service experience preferred (automotive a plus, not required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a positive, professional attitude
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Desire to learn and grow within the automotive industry

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check and drug screening.
