Injection Molding Process Engineer II
Contract:
2 years with extension or conversion potential

Leads development, validation, and optimization of injection molding processes for medical-grade manufacturing, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency through scientific molding and data-driven improvement.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, validate (IQ/OQ/PQ), and optimize processes.
  • Apply scientific molding to improve quality and cycle times.
  • Troubleshoot using root cause analysis and FMEA.
  • Maintain compliant documentation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on product launches and improvements.
  • Drive continuous improvement (SPC, DOE, Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Support tooling and process changes via CAD interpretation.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in Engineering or related field.
  • 4-6+ years injection molding experience (medical preferred).
  • Knowledge of polymers, process controls, and regulated environments.
  • Strong data analysis and communication skills.

Preferred
  • Scientific Molding training and/or Master Molder certification.
  • Experience with decoupled molding, project management, and technical reporting.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong quality and continuous improvement mindset.
