The Manager also supervises surveillance data collection and dissemination, outbreak investigations, regulatory compliance, and the development and management of the departmental budget to ensure fiscal responsibility. Additional responsibilities include supervision of HEIC staff, oversight of preparedness for high-consequence pathogens, and support of infection prevention research initiatives.

Required Licensure/Certification:
Certification in Infection Control (CIC) is required.
Work Experience:
A minimum of four years of experience in epidemiology and infection control in an acute care setting is required. Additional infection control experience beyond the minimum requirement may be substituted for a Master's degree on a two years of experience for one year of education basis.
Skills:
Demonstrated leadership experience in infection control, preferably in roles such as Infection Control Epidemiologist III or Supervisor within HEIC. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead organizational change related to infection control practices. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships and negotiate resolutions aligned with departmental and organizational goals. Proven ability to foster a culture of compassionate care, innovation, collaboration, and teamwork while achieving results through effective leadership and partnership across the organization.
Salary Range: Minimum 49.81/hour - Maximum 87.18/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
