Automotive Heavy Line Technician Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, and drivetrain systems
• Perform advanced mechanical and drivability diagnostics
• Use manufacturer diagnostic tools to identify complex issues
• Accurately document diagnostic steps and repair work performed
• Collaborate with service advisors to ensure clear repair explanations
• Follow manufacturer specifications and dealership quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Participate in Hyundai technical training as required

Automotive Heavy Line Technician Compensation and Benefits

The Heavy Line Technician position is paid on a pay scale that may include one or more of the following compensation elements:

• Hourly compensation, which varies based on experience, skill level, certifications, and performance
• Productionbased incentive compensation, which may be earned based on individual and/or team productivity
• Retentionbased incentive compensation, which may be earned based on hours produced

The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is $33.80 to $44.00 per hour. Actual compensation within this range will be determined by jobrelated factors such as experience, qualifications, performance, and business needs. Incentive and bonus compensation are not guaranteed and may be zero if applicable benchmarks are not met.

Automotive Heavy Line Technician Qualifications

• Heavy line automotive technician experience required
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic expertise
• Experience with Hyundai vehicles preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently in a fastpaced, productionoriented environment
• ASE certifications are preferred but not required
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check and drug screening.
