What is hourly framing?

Hourly framing refers to work performed by framers, typically in construction or carpentry, who are paid by the hour to build the structural framework of buildings. This includes erecting walls, floors, and roofs using wood, metal, or other materials according to blueprints and building codes. Hourly framers may work on residential, commercial, or industrial projects and are responsible for ensuring that structures are safe, level, and ready for further construction. The pay rate can vary based on experience, location, and the complexity of the project.

What are some common challenges hourly framing employees face on the job, and how can they be managed?

Hourly framing employees often encounter challenges such as working in varying weather conditions, managing tight project deadlines, and maintaining safety on construction sites.
