Requirements
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Valid RN license required
- Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
- Charting system: Epic
- Labor and Delivery and Postpartum clinical experience required
- Strong precepting skills preferred
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide LDRP care (labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum)
- Triage obstetrical patients
- Circulate for C-sections
- Conduct sterile vaginal exams and IUPC use/placement
- Administer magnesium sulfate therapy and insulin drips
- Maintain central lines/PICCs
- Perform neonatal resuscitation (NRP)
Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Local radius: 50-mile rule applies; locals accepted: No
- Return-staff policy: 3 months to return as traveler
