Job description

The Finance & Treasury Manager exists to safeguard and maximize the Company's cash position by developing and executing treasury strategy, policy, and budgeting/forecasting processes. This role partners with senior leadership on capital structure, working capital, foreign exchange, interest rate risk, and insurance risk management, and reports to an assigned department leader.
Essential Functions
  • Oversee the Company's annual budgeting and forecasting processes, partnering with functional leaders to ensure accuracy and to identify, track, and forecast key metrics affecting operations and budget performance.
  • Oversee financial planning and budgeting software, working to maximize its utilization and drive continued improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies, operations, policies, and budgets for treasury activities to maximize cash management while ensuring proper safeguards are in place.
  • Oversee and execute daily cash management to support the Company's ongoing operations.
  • Direct the development and revision of policies for capital structure, working capital, treasury operations, cash management, foreign exchange, interest rate risk management, and insurance risk management.
  • Partner with the Director, Finance & Treasury, VP, Finance & Treasury and Chief Financial Officer to develop and execute borrowing, investing, foreign exchange, treasury operations, financial risk management, and corporate finance initiatives that support Company goals.
  • Coordinate with the Accounting function to ensure cash, financing, and other transactions are properly recorded.
  • Develop relationships with the Company's key commercial banking contacts and monitor current banking trends to support sound, informed treasury and financing decisions.
  • Develop and maintain a dashboard for reporting cash management performance and other material KPIs and metrics to senior management on a timely, frequent basis.
  • Prepare analysis, such as return-on-investment calculations, for material capital requests, working with functional leaders to increase the accuracy of the analysis.
  • Train, develop, and supervise a junior financial analyst to assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis duties.
  • Participate in operations benchmarking projects, including transportation, disposal, purchasing, process operations, and network optimization studies.
  • Participate as needed in industry committees and groups.
  • Support continuous improvement processes and identify opportunities to enhance operations activities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by senior management.

Education & Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in Finance OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 10 years of experience in Finance.
  • Experience with financial analysis
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel at an advanced level
  • Experience with analytical methods
  • Experience working with managers and employees across the Company
  • Knowledge of Company operations
  • Experience training and managing personnel
  • Experience with communication and presentation
  • Knowledge of business processes

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with NetSuite budgeting/planning software
  • Experience with NetSuite budgeting/planning tools

Work Environment
Primarily indoor office environment; noise level is generally quiet, may require sitting for long periods, regularly requires talking, hearing, seeing, and often reaching with hands, regularly requires standing and walking. Regularly requires use of a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $120,000.00 -$140.000.00 annually, and includes benefits such as the following:
