About the Team The ESG Central Technology team builds and supports ESG data and technology capabilities that enable Invesco's strategic ESG objectives. The team partners closely with Global ESG, Investments, Risk, Compliance, and Product teams to deliver scalable, dataโ€driven solutions in an agile environment. Role Overview We are seeking a Principal Business Analyst to join our ESG technology team. The analyst will work closely with ESG business partners and technology teams to lead analysis efforts for complex ESG initiatives. This handsโ€on role requires an experienced analyst who thrives in fastโ€moving environments and enjoys solving complex, nonโ€routine problems. Responsibilities Lead discovery and requirements definition for complex ESG data and technology initiatives. Partner with ESG and business stakeholders to understand workflows, data needs, and priorities. Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Work closely with engineers and data teams in an Agile delivery model. Solve complex problems using independent judgment within established standards. Requirements 10โ€12+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst. Demonstrated experience leading analysis and execution for largeโ€scale or complex, dataโ€driven technology initiatives. Solid understanding of data concepts, SQL, Snowflake, and reporting or analytics tools. Financial services or asset management experience required. Experience working in Agile delivery models and partnering closely with engineering teams. Strong domain knowledge in ESG, investments, risk, compliance, regulatory reporting, or data platforms is preferred. Benefits Competitive compensation and benefit offerings.
