Temp/Perm Maintenance Technician 1st -Conroe, TX

We have an opportunity for aTemp/Perm Maintenance Technicianto join ourConroe, TXteam. Youwill install,maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures,pipes,and electrical systems at site.

You will:

• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment and troubleshoot and repair
• Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
• Discusses machine operation variations with operators,supervisorsor other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
• Troubleshoot and install electrical equipment, 4-20ma, 24vac, 90vdc, single and 3-phaseup to 480v, VFD, PLC, Servo Drive, Encoder, Proximity Switch, laser sensors.
• Maintains TPM program from factory equipment.
• Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Lays out, assembles, installs, andmaintainspipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
• Makes emergency repairs when necessary to limit excessive downtime and production delays.
• Sets up andoperatemachine tools such as lathe, grinder,drilland milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools.Operates cutting torch, welding equipment to cut and fabricate items.
• Coordinates material requisitions needed for each project.
• Follows all 5S practices and supports lean activities, as well as safety regulations policies and procedures.
• Works to reduce equipment down time.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls, PLC, Servo controls, Temperature controls, Encoders
• Repairsandmaintainsphysicalstructure of establishment
• Facilitates thetrainingof maintenance technicians

Key Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED
• 1 - 3years of maintenance experience
• Must be able to stand and work 10 hours a day
• Must be able tolift upto 50lbs.
• Be able to set up andoperatebasic, manual metal fabrication machines
• Be able toutilizecalibrated precision measuring instruments
• Be able to read and interpret blueprints
• Be able to use precision measuring tools
• Be ableto read and write tocomply withwritten instructions and complete departmental paperwork
• Be proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams

Shift/Hours:

• 1stshift hours Monday through Thursday from 5am - 3:30pmOT on Friday.
• Must be open to working overtime if needed on Friday
• This position has the potential to go permanent
• This is a temporary position with the potential to transition to permanent status after 90 days

Compensation:

The hourly pay range for this role is:$27.00- $30.00/hr.Opportunity for a rateincreaseafter you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training.Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
