This role focuses on advanced preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems across the facility.As a senior-level technician, you will play a key role in equipment reliability, downtime reduction, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring production runs safely and efficiently. This position requires strong technical expertise, independent problem-solving, and a proactive, reliability-centered maintenance mindset.WHAT YOU WILL DO – MAINTENANCE & RELIABILITY FOCUSPerform advanced preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance (PdM), and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipmentTroubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsConduct root cause analysis (RCA) on equipment failures and implement long-term corrective actionsMaintain and repair pumps, motors, drive systems, conveyors, piping systems, valves, and rotating equipmentSupport equipment reliability initiatives, including lubrication programs and condition-based monitoringExecute CMMS work orders, ensuring accurate maintenance records and documentationPerform equipment inspections, diagnostics, and failure analysis to prevent unplanned downtimeAssist with equipment installations, system upgrades, rebuilds, and capital improvement projectsUtilize precision tools and measurement equipment to ensure alignment, calibration, and accuracyFollow all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), rigging, confined space, and safe lifting practicesCollaborate with Production and Engineering teams to improve equipment performance, throughput, and reliabilityDrive continuous improvement (CI) and lean maintenance practices to enhance operational efficiencyWHAT YOU BRINGHigh school diploma or GED requiredTechnical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, electromechanical systems, or a related field preferred3+  years of experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or equipment repairStrong expertise in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of complex equipment systemsHands-on experience with preventive maintenance programs, predictive maintenance tools, and reliability best practicesWorking knowledge of motors, gearboxes, PLCs (preferred), hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systemsProficiency with CMMS systems, shop tools, power tools, and precision instrumentsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manualsOverhead crane certification (or ability to obtain)Strong commitment to safety, maintenance excellence, and teamworkWHAT WE OFFERCompetitive hourly payComprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefitsRetirement savings plan with company contributionsEmployer-paid life and short-term disability insuranceOptional voluntary benefitsGenerous PTO and Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Career growth opportunities in a maintenance and reliability-focused organizationWHY JOIN US?At RS, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the equipment that powers production and supports essential infrastructure.
