Experience Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician

Location: Garland

Position Summary 

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Commercial Refrigeration Technician CO2 experience to support our commercial refrigeration service operations. 
The position focuses on troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Diagnose, service and repair mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC and refrigeration equipment. 
  • Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment. 
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical control issues related to CO2 and traditional refrigeration equipment. 
  • Ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and company safety standards at all times. 
  • Accurately document service calls and maintenance reports electronically. 
  • Collaborate with dispatch, supervisors, and customers to ensure efficient job completion. 
  • Follow all safety protocols when handling CO2 and other refrigerants. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and environmental regulations. 
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to service calls after hours as needed. 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support company operations. 

Qualifications 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with CO2 refrigeration systems (supermarket or industrial preferred). 
  • EPA Universal Certification required. 
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record. 
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. 
  • Able to lift up to 70 lbs. and safely climb ladders or work on rooftops. 
  • Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Manufacturer training on CO2 systems  
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish (a plus) 
  • Familiarity with EMS and rack controls 

Compensation
