Location - Onsite, Orlando FL

The Kind of Work You'll be Doing: 

  • Manage a variety of troubleshooting and repair of commercial electrical systems, or other related expertise in complex maintenance operations.
  • Manage the Building Management System (BMS) to control and monitor the mechanical and electrical systems throughout Lake Hart.
  • Train lower-level maintenance team personnel in maintenance specializations.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/mechanical equipment and systems. Run conduits, pull wires, motor starters, contactors, and switches.
  • Guide the installation, repair, and maintenance of locking systems and door hardware; rekey locks and build lock cores; repair door locking mechanisms.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, automobiles, buildings, and related systems.
  • Manage the testing of Lake Hart Fire Systems; Fire Alarm Control Panel, Fire Suppression System, Sprinkler System, Fire Pumps, Hydrants, and Fire Extinguishers. Prepare paperwork for each system per NFPA 72 requirements. Interact with contractors and the Fire Marshal for each Fire System.
  • Manage the Lift Station on Lake Hart property; perform quarterly inspections and maintain log. Schedule with contractors for annual pump and disposal.
  • Maintain and prepare records related to work performed, including inventories, work orders, preventive maintenance, key system records, and inspection records.
  • Assist in labor and material estimations for projects; purchase supplies and materials on open accounts as needed according to established procedures; explain and assist with needed construction and repair with contractors as assigned.
  • Be on-call and respond to building emergencies at Lake Hart property 24/7 on a rotation basis throughout the year. During severe weather conditions, assist in preparing the buildings and securing the property with appropriate action. Participate in reopening the property after a shutdown.
  • Perform errands to pick up a variety of building materials and other miscellaneous supplies when needed.
  • Travel is required up to 10% of the year.

At least 5 years of prior experience performing maintenance operations such as repairing and maintaining all electrical systems while maintaining NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) compliance required. Journeyman preferred.
