Position Summary
Carolina Heating is seeking an experienced and dependable
Residential Electrician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing residential and/or light commercial electrical systems while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining all safety and code requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and install electrical systems including wiring, panels, outlets, switches, lighting, and fixtures
- Perform electrical inspections and troubleshoot system issues efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs, recommendations, and safety concerns
- Maintain accurate service documentation and job records
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Electrical License preferred
- Residential service experience
- Experience with service software or mobile dispatch systems
- Generator, panel upgrade, transfer switch installations or specialty electrical experience
