Job description

We are looking for:
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, repair and/or rebuilding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. They will apply in-depth craft-level expertise to solve problems and recommend solutions to maintenance issues relating to machine tools, process equipment, and facility systems at the Augusta, GA site.
We count on you for:
  • Be able to perform basic Maintenance Skills:
    • Light rigging
    • Piping joints and gaskets
    • Tubing fitting, < ¾ "
    • Operate light load lifting equipment
    • Valve maintenance
    • Hand tools
    • Basic computer skills
  • Perform rotating equipment repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Perform equipment alignment and seal repairs.
  • Adhere to all plant safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance functions on equipment as needed.
  • Install and/or assist in new equipment installations.
  • Perform miscellaneous mechanical, piping, and vessel entry duties as required.
  • All other duties as assigned.

You will bring:
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) AND a minimum of 3 years (within the last 5 years) of work-related experience
  • Technical school certificate or diploma in a specific work-related area, such as welding, industrial maintenance, electromechanical technology, etc. AND a minimum of 2 years (within the last 5 years) of work-related experience.

Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
