Then you might be our next Maintenance Technician II.job descriptionThe Maintenance Technician II will be responsible for performing advanced maintenance repairs and diagnostics across residential properties.
The role requires in-depth knowledge of building systems, the ability to independently manage complex troubleshooting and specialized repairs, and strict adherence to safety standards and applicable codes.
The Maintenance Technician II performs semi-skilled and skilled tasks across carpentry, general construction, electrical, plumbing, painting, and heating and air conditioning systems.
They are also expected to explain job scope to others and support team operations.job requirements
  • plumbing repairs and diagnostics
  • electrical repairs and diagnostics
  • heating, ventilation, and air conditioning repairs and diagnostics
     
  • flooring and tile repairs
  • sheetrock repairs

  • water remediation tasks

  • keep inventory of all supplies and equipment and communicate with manager when materials are needed
  • report any on-site incidents to the property manager
     
  • maintain a professional appearance and attitude, with excellent customer service and time management skills
  • perform other duties as needed
 who you are
  • five to ten or more years of experience in building maintenance or a related technical field
  • able to stand for up to 8 hours, occasionally climb ladders, and lift up to 75 pounds unassisted
  • proficiency in semi-skilled and skilled repairs across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general construction
     
  • knowledge of electrical, energy management, mechanical, HVAC, card access control, alarm, and security camera systems
  • understanding of federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations
  • Participation in on-call rotations is required
  • high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; trade or technical school or industry related courses preferred
  • OSHA certification required
  • a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work across multiple properties
  • applicants who are offered a position will be required to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test
