Glazing Saddles, Krispy Kreme
Overview of Position: The Driver is responsible for delivering our doughnuts to our wholesale customers and tunnel shops accurately and on time. The Driver maintains a good working relationship with our wholesale customers through managing each account's products, display and is the face of Krispy Kreme. Their excellent customer service skills, professional appearance, commitment to teamwork and enthusiasm are keys to our success.


Position Responsibilities:
Greet customers with a sincere smile and listen carefully to their needs.
Maintain a pleasant and courteous demeanor.
Maintain a clean, neat Glazing Saddles issued uniform at all times.
Drive to each customer nightly & during the day safely and efficiently; delivering doughnuts on time.
Pick up any doughnuts from the previous day and issue credits, if appropriate.
For COD accounts, pick up cash payment for the doughnuts at the time of delivery.
Secure the cash payments and settle with Manager once the route is finished during the end of day process.
Communicate any errors to the manager so that the customer's account can be fixed for accuracy.
Communicate any route change suggestions to Manager.
Assist in properly maintaining and upkeep on all delivery vehicles.
Maintain delivery vehicle organization to promote efficient operations.
Demonstrate safety consciousness at all times and report all incidents to a supervisor.
Assist in maintaining a high level of store sanitation and cleanliness.
Report any equipment failure or issues to supervisor in a timely manner.
Consistently model all store policies, standards, and practices.
Follow all Krispy Kreme standards for Food Safety Program and HACCP Plans.
Company provides uniform of 1-cap, 1-polo shirt, 1-name tag and 1-apron to an employee to be worn during shift. Employee must wear blue jeans (no holes, washout or ripped) and black belt

Non-Slip shoes or boots must be worn at all times. Maintain a clean, neat Glazing Saddles-issued uniform at all times.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be able to read and communicate using the English language
Ability to make simple mathematical calculations
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Ability to work with minimal onsite supervision
Operate a company box truck or company van during daylight and night hours.
Must have and maintain a clean driving record
Ability to understand and utilize GPS road navigation
Operate a hand-held device and printer
Ability to merchandise food displays
Demonstrate and provide exceptional customer service skills
Demonstrate the ability to count and collect monies due from customer accounts and maintain the security of such monies
Operate a pallet jack and hand truck dolly
Valued but not required skills and experience:
Experience with basic equipment repair and maintenance
Handheld Computer Experience
Route Sales Experience
