Submarine Technician (FT, ST, ET, IT)

We are proactively identifying top-tier Submarine Technicians for a future funded role supporting critical Navy systems. If you're transitioning from active duty or recently retired and want to continue contributing to Fleet readiness, this opportunity offers stable, meaningful work ashore.
You'll support NAVSEA and DoD personnel with installation, maintenance, testing, and certification of AN/BVY-1 (ISIS) and AN/BPS-series RADAR systems across multiple submarine platforms. Your technical expertise will help ensure systems perform reliably and meet Navy standards.
Responsibilities
• Install, validate, and service ISIS and RADAR systems aboard U.S. submarines
• Execute troubleshooting, corrective actions, and electronic system verifications
• Review and support engineering change proposals and instructions
• Assist in creating technical data, manuals, maintenance procedures, and drawing updates
• Maintain documentation, logs, databases, and project tracking systems
• Support engineering teams in tasks involving installation, calibration, repair, fabrication, testing, and operation of electronic/mechanical systems
• Ensure compliance with all engineering specifications and documentation requirements
• Provide technical evaluations for components, installations, and system performance
Minimum Qualifications
• Active Secret US Government Clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
• High School Diploma/GED and five years of practical experience OR degree/formal training and three years of experience
• Practical experience maintaining, troubleshooting, or repairing Submarine C5I systems/equipment
• Experience in maintenance/repair and/or installation disciplines
• Experience with design, preparation, and modification of engineering documents and drawings
• Ability to travel up to 15%
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience across multiple submarine platforms and SWFTS systems
• Familiarity with network configuration and BYG-1 combat control systems

Service Contract Act (SCA) Compensation & Benefits:
This is an hourly, overtime-eligible position that falls under the Service Contract Act (SCA). In accordance with the Health and Welfare provisions of the SCA, and in addition to your base hourly rate, you may be eligible to receive an additional health and welfare payment for each hour you work to ensure compliance with the minimums set forth by the act. The amount you are entitled to receive will vary depending upon the fringe benefits you select now and in the future.
Compensation Details:
$25.04 - $50.00 Hourly
