About Us:
Naba Dental is a trusted family dental practice located in the Memorial area of Houston. Our team is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team.
Position Summary:
As a Dental Assistant at Naba Dental, you will support our team in delivering excellent patient care. You should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of creating a positive experience for patients from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare exam rooms and assist the dentist during procedures.
  • Take and develop dental x-rays (digital).
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of dental equipment and operatories.
  • Record patient medical histories and assist with charting in Dentrix Ascend.
  • Provide post-op instructions and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit.
  • Assist with lab tasks such as pouring models and sending/receiving lab case.
  • Monitor inventory and order dental supplies as needed.
  • Be a backup to the front office staff as needed (cross-trained environment).
Qualifications:
  • Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification required.
  • 5+ years of dental assisting experience preferred.
  • Experienced in orthodontic, prosthodontic, surgery and general dentistry.
  • Proficiency with Dentrix Ascend or willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • CPR certification (current).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
