• Position Summary
The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining the company's enterprise IT infrastructure, including Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hypervisors), EMC storage systems, and network infrastructure. This role partners with HQ teams, external vendors, contractors, and application teams to troubleshoot infrastructure issues, implement system improvements, and ensure the availability, reliability, and security of business-critical systems.
The Infrastructure Engineer also manages data center infrastructure, including servers, switches, routers, storage, and virtualization platforms. The role is responsible for incident response, root cause analysis, system maintenance, and operational support to ensure stable and efficient business operations.
• Key Responsibilities
• Manage, monitor, and maintain Windows and Linux server environments to ensure system stability and availability.
• Support VMware and other hypervisor platforms, including virtual machine provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Administer EMC storage systems, including capacity monitoring, connectivity checks, and storage-related issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues related to servers, storage, virtualization, network connectivity, and system performance.
• Support network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewall-related connectivity checks, and server room network equipment.
• Perform incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for infrastructure-related outages or service disruptions.
• Coordinate with HQ teams, contractors, vendors, and application teams to analyze issues and implement technical solutions.
• Perform routine system maintenance, patching, hardware checks, backup support, and infrastructure health monitoring.
• Manage server room equipment, including physical servers, switches, routers, cabling, rack organization, and hardware replacement support.
• Document infrastructure configurations, troubleshooting steps, maintenance activities, and issue resolution for operational continuity.

A proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong communication, ownership, and problem-solving skills who can collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.
• Required Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure, including Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and enterprise storage.
• Experience with VMware (or other hypervisors), EMC/Dell EMC storage, and server hardware administration.
• Solid understanding of enterprise networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, switches, routers, DNS, and DHCP.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills with the ability to resolve complex infrastructure issues in a production environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working across cross-functional teams, vendors, and global organizations.
