As Data Center Manager, you’ll be the final word on site performance, stepping into incident command when it matters most and setting the roadmap for how your site grows. This is a role for a hands-on leader who wants real authority over outcomes, from uptime and safety to financial performance and the team behind it all.

What You’ll Do

Operational Accountability: Own site operations end to end, including uptime, safety, and compliance across your assigned data centers, and step in as incident commander to drive fast, effective resolution when it matters most.

Operational Documentation & Process Governance: Keep operations running like clockwork by owning documentation, procedures, and process standards, making sure records, drawings, and policies stay accurate and repeatable.

Infrastructure, Projects & Growth: Lead the next phase of growth, planning, pricing, and executing infrastructure projects, customer deployments, and facility expansions that align with long-term capacity strategy.

Financial & Asset Management: Take ownership of OPEX and CAPEX budgets, vendor contracts, and asset lifecycle management, balancing financial discipline with reliability and scalability.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Execution: Lead your site team and partner across Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Customers to execute projects with clear accountability and drive lasting site performance.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of planning and construction management processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of estimating, budgeting, and scheduling practices.
  • Understanding of fiber optic technology, including single-mode and multi-mode fibers.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% depending on data center needs
  • Simplify: Problem Solving, Strategic Thinking
  • Be Reliable: Dependability, Execution, Time Management
  • Act Like an Owner: Accountability, Leadership, Business Acumen

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4+ Years Professional Experience in facilities management, electrical or mechanical engineering

Experience:

  • 4+ Years Experience working in data centers and/or experience with data center infrastructure to include electrical, HVAC, fire suppression, and security systems.

What We Offer:

In return for your hard work and commitment, you will enjoy a supportive and inclusive workplace, along with the following benefits:

  • Generous paid time off policy, including vacation and 10 paid holidays
  • Competitive and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits plans with Flexible Spending benefits including medical/dental expenses and dependent care
  • 401(k) retirement plan with a generous contribution
  • Group Term Life Insurance covered 100% by employer
  • Wellness Incentive to promote overall employee well-being
  • Paid volunteer time
  • Business casual dress code

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

This position may be performed in either a standard office setting or a home office environment. It requires prolonged periods of sitting, frequent use of a computer and other office equipment, and effective time management in a self-directed work environment.
