We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a highly collaborative and technically strong data engineering team remotely supporting a major cloud transformation initiative. This role is critical to the organization's roadmap as the team migrates enterprise data platforms from on‑prem environments to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
This is a hands‑on, senior‑level role for someone who enjoys ownership, problem‑solving, and building scalable data solutions in a modern cloud environment.

Successful candidates excel at and enjoy:

  • Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and ingestion frameworks on Google Cloud Platform
  • Support large‑scale on‑prem to GCP cloud migrations
  • Develop and maintain solutions using:
    • BigQuery
    • GCP Dataflow
    • Cloud Storage
    • Python
 

Your previous experience includes:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
  • Hands‑on production experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Strong experience with:
    • BigQuery
    • Data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
    • Python for data engineering
  • Experience working with APIs, data ingestion, and large datasets
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
