Job description

Overview:

The Data Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and compiling data to be shared with customers servicing multiple tiers. In addition, this role is responsible for assisting the IE Manager in the development and implementation of standard costing as it pertains

to Sage's commercial product offerings.


Job Type:

Full Time (Hybrid)

On Site: 3 days/week; - Abbeville Plant (Abbeville, SC)

Remote: 2 days/week


Pay Rate:

Based on Experience

Hourly: $26.45 - $33.23


Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all aspects of the Sage Safety Process
  • Travel between plant(s) as needed
  • Generate, update, and distribute data reports and presentations for management
  • Provide Certificate of Analysis (COA) Data based on customer requirements
  • Use statistical tools and software to interpret and analyze data
  • Identify and resolve issues related to data quality/accuracy
  • Update, monitor, and alert manufacturing teams with trends and patterns based on product or process data sets
  • Participate/Lead daily and weekly calls with both internal/external customers and team members
  • Filter and clean data for reports
  • Work closely with lab associates, PPAP & CAPA coordinators to assist with data requests
  • Update SKUs/bill of materials as needed
  • Support in process of verifying cost accuracy for new/existing products
  • Update and maintain cost charts/reporting as needed
  • Update product costing in JOMAR to support locations without an IE, as needed
  • All other duties as needed/directed by supervisor



Qualifications/Skills:

Required:

  • Microsoft Excel (Intermediate) – Excel functions, Chart creation, etc.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate) - PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Ability to communicate with all areas of the company and with outside customers
  • Self-starter with demonstrated time management skills
  • Ability to work as an individual and part of a cross functional team


Preferred:

  • Microsoft Excel (Advanced) – Excel functions, Power Query, PivotTables, etc.
  • Working knowledge of JOMAR ERP system preferred/ability to learn

Travel Requirements

  • Some travel between locations required (<10%)
