GQ Animal Clinic is a small animal oriented veterinary practice with 2 locations in the vibrant and ever growing South Florida area. Our locations have state of the art medical equipment, software and recently renovated facilities to make the job fun while giving you all the tools needed to succeed.

We are looking for someone who shares this vision and will help us make every experience an incredible one for all of the people and animals that walk through our doors. This individual will be the face of our South Florida Pet Emergency clinic in Hialeah, FL.

Essential Functions

Customer Service

Communicate both with the client and our team to ensure all of the information is correct and understood by both sides

Greet clients, answer telephones, and guide clients to exam rooms

Answer questions about products and services, focusing on client education

Manage medical records, charts, reports and correspondence

Financial

Cross sell and make necessary recommendations for the patientsโ€™ health benefit

Process payments

Present and explain fees

Marketing

Reach out to current and potential clients

Assist in content creation and implementation for marketing campaigns

Organization and Time Management

Organize a client schedule and make follow ups for appointments and medication

Filing, manage emails and take prescription orders

Use fax features, printing documents and other basic office equipment

Maintain a clean work area throughout

Qualifications

A minimum high school diploma

Communicates effectively with all levels of personnel and diverse client groups to ensure clarity and alignment.

Manages a high volume of inbound calls, ensuring accurate and timely routing to the appropriate departments.

Prioritizes organizational excellence and attention to detail while managing multiple concurrent projects.

Exhibits a professional demeanor and takes proactive initiative within a collaborative team setting.

Maintains total scheduling flexibility, remaining available for weekday, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Displays resilience and a positive outlook when navigating high-pressure or stressful scenarios.

Preferred Qualifications

Working proficiency in English and Spanish

Prior experience in customer service or medical reception roles (1+ years)

Understanding of computers, email platforms, phone services, Google Workspace and other office equipment
