Front Desk & Wellness Agent

Location: Dupont Circle, Washington, DC | Type: Part-Time


About REŌ CRYO HUB

REŌ CRYO HUB is a directed, performance and longevity wellness spa in the heart of Dupont Circle. We specialize in bio-optimization and recovery services including cryotherapy, red light therapy, lymphatic compression, and advanced wellness modalities. Our clientele are high-performing professionals who expect a seamless, premium experience from arrival to departure.


Position Overview

The Front Desk & Wellness Agent serves as the primary point of contact for REŌ CRYO HUB guests while also delivering hands-on wellness services. This role blends hospitality, equipment operation, and facility care to ensure every client receives a consistent, high-quality experience. Full training is provided on all machines and service protocols prior to independent operation.


Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Client Flow

  • Greet clients warmly and professionally upon arrival
  • Check clients in and out efficiently using scheduling and POS software
  • Confirm appointments, process payments, and manage membership accounts
  • Answer questions about services, pricing, contraindications, and membership options
  • Educate new clients on available services and recommend appropriate modalities
  • Upsell service packages, add-ons, and retail products to support revenue targets
  • Handle client concerns with professionalism and escalate to management when appropriate

Wellness Equipment Operation (Full Training Provided)

  • Cryotherapy: Operate whole-body and localized cryotherapy equipment; conduct pre-session screenings; guide clients through sessions safely
  • Lymphatic Compression: Set up and operate compression therapy devices; educate clients on session benefits and duration; monitor client comfort throughout
  • Red Light Therapy: Operate red light/photobiomodulation panels; position clients correctly; manage session timing per protocol
  • Complete client intake forms and contraindication reviews before each session
  • Accurately document all sessions in client records

Post-Session Sanitation & Room Turnover

  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize all equipment, surfaces, and treatment areas after each session
  • Restock supplies and prepare rooms for the next client within designated turnaround time
  • Maintain a spotless, spa-level environment throughout the facility at all times

Laundry & Linen Management

  • Wash, dry, and fold client-use supplies including towels, robes, and gowns
  • Maintain adequate par levels of clean linens throughout the shift
  • Inspect linens for wear and flag replacements as needed
  • Store all supplies neatly and in designated areas

Administrative & Facility Support

  • Open and/or close the facility per standard operating procedures
  • Monitor and report supply inventory needs to management
  • Support team members during high-volume periods
  • Participate in all staff meetings and ongoing training sessions


Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of customer service, hospitality, front desk, or spa experience
  • Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with a luxury wellness brand
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in varying temperature environments
  • Comfortable operating wellness technology and learning new equipment quickly
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)

Preferred

  • Experience in a wellness spa, medical spa, fitness, or recovery environment
  • Familiarity with cryotherapy, compression therapy, or red-light therapy
  • Experience with scheduling or POS software (Mindbody, Jane App, Square, etc.)
