KLXS-III Artemis – Internal Program Support


Join our team in support of NASA on the Kennedy Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Program (LX) Support Services Contract Three (KLXS III) contract. Under this contract, ARES provides engineering and technical services, program and business management support services and administrative support services to the EGS Program. The contract also includes support for ground systems and spaceflight systems planning and design; project management and integration; operations integration and analysis; technical requirements development, management, and compliance; cost, risk, information, and configuration management; and schedule integration and analysis.

Position Summary: Serves as a Management Analyst supporting the EGS Program. Coordinates the timely flow of program information, develops engaging employee information products, and supports initiatives that strengthen workforce awareness, connection, and engagement across the organization. Helps ensure employees remain informed, motivated, and connected through multiple channels, including employee websites, email bulletins, newsletters, employee engagement activities, special events, facility tours, and digital information resources. Builds and maintains a strong network across the organization to gather information, develop content, and support program priorities. Works closely with senior executives, managers, supervisors, and program stakeholders to develop organizational messaging, share important program developments, and identify opportunities to strengthen employee engagement. Plans and coordinates employee morale events and activities that foster connection, recognize accomplishments, and promote a positive workplace culture.

Description of Duties: Support the EGS leadership and other key decision-makers to:

  • Support the successful implementation of organizational initiatives and projects by ensuring employees have timely access to relevant information and resources.
  • Plan, develop, edit, and maintain content for a variety of organizational materials, including articles, announcements, executive messages, presentations, newsletters, employee website content, and other digital and print resources.
  • Draft messages, remarks, talking points, and scripts for senior executives and organizational leaders for presentation to employees in written or spoken form.
  • Coordinate with program offices, technical organizations, and subject matter experts to gather information and translate complex topics into clear, accessible, and engaging materials for employees and other stakeholders.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute employee morale events, recognition activities, leadership engagements, facility tours, VIP visits, employee engagement activities, and other program-sponsored events.
  • Gather and incorporate feedback from technical organizations, program offices, subject matter experts, and employees to improve organizational materials, activities, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain organizational calendars, event schedules, employee information resources, and other program management tools to support awareness of key activities and priorities.
  • Support special projects, strategic initiatives, workforce engagement efforts, and other program priorities as assigned.

Education:

  • A Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, or similar field of study.

Level of experience:

  • Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience leading in most of the duties in this job description.

  • Adept at developing relationships to bring forth insights and information.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically PowerPoint and Word).
  • Experience developing visual products using graphic design, presentation, photography, video, or multimedia software.

Preferred skills and competencies include:

  • Prior NASA/KSC experience; direct EGS experience is a plus
