As our Electrical Assembler you will report to the Assembly Supervisor of Prepared Foods Division within the US.
This role is located at our Kingston Facility.
On a given day, you may:
In this role, you'll help build and test electrical components used in our equipment. If you enjoy reading schematics, working with your hands, and being part of a collaborative manufacturing team, this could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities
  • Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to complete electrical assemblies
  • Hather and verify parts, tools, and materials needed for each job
  • Assemble, wire, and solder electrical components to specifications
  • Perform panel wiring and machine wiring based on documentation
  • Test equipment and complete required documentation (test reports, NCRs, etc.)
  • Support engineering teams with prototype builds
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications
  • Associate degree in electrical, electro-mechanical technology, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Basic knowledge of electrical theory and test equipment
  • Experience using hand tools (crimpers, strippers, drills etc.)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Good communication skills

Preferred Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical assembly or a similar role
