Job description

RN - Infection Control

VIBRA TRAVELS is seeking an Infection Control Registered Nurse RN to join our expanding network of healthcare professionals. We're looking for dependable, detail-focused travelers with experience in hospital settings. If you're ready to assist in life-changing procedures while traveling the country, this is your opportunity!

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients.
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital infection control nursing experience required, 2 years preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of standard precautions, transmission-based precautions, PPE, hand hygiene, and infection prevention principles.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new facility policies, systems, and teams.
  • Certification in Infection Control or CIC preferred.
  • Experience with outbreak management.
  • Familiarity with NHSN reporting, quality metrics, and regulatory surveys.
  • Current, valid, and active driver's license required.
  • Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.

  • Strong knowledge of nursing standards, evidence-based practice, clinical procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent teaching, coaching, presentation, and facilitation skills.
