Job Description:
Functions:
  • Leverage manufacturing network simulation models to assess "capacity levers", or projects or investments that impact capacity with technology, process, regulatory, lifecycle, and other considerations.
  • Model network requirements to identify decision points to phase capacity investment just-in-time to meet patient demand, while minimizing cost and maximizing optionality.
  • Ensure planning assumption alignment with short-term supply or demand or capacity reporting.
  • Collaborate with BI&A to continuously improve manufacturing network stochastic model to improve utility and support broader insight.
  • Perform demand, supply and capacity scenario-, risk-, and sensitivity analyses by product, region, and manufacturing site in support of planning and ad-hoc reviews.

Skills or Qualifications:
  • Strong business acumen and proven track record for providing innovative solutions resulting in increased business performance.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization
  • Broad, enterprise-wide view and understanding of strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance.
  • Understanding of the value of process-centric approach to business analysis and capability development
  • Experience working within cross-functional project team to understand business requirements and deliver process artifacts.
  • Ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected business documentation and drawings and articulate their collective relevance to the organization and to high-priority business issues.
  • Applicable experience with capacity planning, network planning, and/or supply planning.

Preferred:
  • Experience with simulation or stochastic models.
