- Financial Management:
- Monitor and manage all aspects of the dealership financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Dealership Accounting:
- Oversee the recording and reconciliation of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and industry standards.
- Manage the dealership financial statements, trial balances, and other financial documents, collaborating with the accounting team as necessary.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance financial processes, utilizing technology and best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and manage the assigned accounting team, providing guidance, training, and support to promote professional growth and performance excellence.

- Assists when necessary to fill in for staff shortages due to vacancies, leaves of absence, etc.
- Relationship Building:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, service, and operations, to ensure alignment of financial goals and accurate reporting.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Business Manager or Account Manager in an automotive dealership
- Dealerbuilt experience preferred
- Thorough understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards in the automotive industry.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with team members, senior management, and external partners.
