Job description

The OpsTech Solutions (OTS) organization provides world-class IT services for Amazon’s fulfillment centers and transportation networks worldwide. Within OTS, the Supply Chain organization ensures that Amazon operations sites have the tech equipment that they need, when they need it. We are seeking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Operations Team as a Process Assistant supporting our flagship Rapid Asset Deployment site, RAD1 in Antioch, Tennessee.
The Process Assistant will be part of the Engineering team and will primarily help identify, root cause and resolve operational issues.
Schedule: Overnight
Sunday - Thursday 10:30pm to 7:00am

Key job responsibilities
• Support and work in assigned department. as required
• Work with internal and external customers to quickly identify, root cause and resolve inbound receive issues
• Work through inbound receive tickets
• Complete time studies
• Complete process audits
• Assist with collecting metrics and product attributes
• Assist with testing out new technologies and software
• Track and report labor hours
• Write and verify SOP compliance
• Diagnose, route and resolve customer tickets
• Ensure successful area performance through tracking, reporting, and feedback of performance
• Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives
• Become an expert in Operations workflow
• Review and update SOP, as required
• Assist in keeping work area clean and organized
• Identify and address safety hazards within the work area
• Participate in safety initiatives
• Additional duties, as assigned

• Review emails
• Check for assigned work
• Review tickets, provide updates and or chase stakeholders for updates
• Review the inbound receive area to check for blockers
• Sync with Operations and address any concerns/call-outs
• Collect time studies
• Conduct process audits
• Write SOPs
• Assist with operational problems
• Collect and collate data
About the team
The Janus Engineering team within Supply Chain focuses on the fulfilment of hardware for AWS data centers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- High school or equivalent
- Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service
- Experience setting up, taking down and re-locating PC systems
- Experience supporting Windows, Mac and/or Linux operating systems in a corporate setting
