Job description

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support our high‑volume metal stamping operations. This role is critical to ensuring our presses, automation systems, and facility equipment run safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. Pay Range: $27.04-$33.90
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on:
    • Mechanical stamping presses
    • Feed lines, coil handling equipment, conveyors, and transfer systems
    • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
    • Industrial electrical systems up to 480V
  • Diagnose root causes of equipment failures and implement long-term corrective actions.
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Perform machine rebuilds, alignments, and component replacements.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase uptime and equipment reliability.
  • Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and plant policies.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in metal stamping or heavy manufacturing.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in:
    • Press repair
    • Hydraulics and pneumatics
    • Gearboxes, bearings, and mechanical drives
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues
  • Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred.
