The ideal candidate will have detailed knowledge of tax planning as it relates to client financial planning, and will exhibit a high degree of professionalism and discretion.

Job duties will focus primarily on the following categories:

Tax Preparation and Entry
  • Prepare and accurately input tax data into appropriate software systems
  • Review financial records, statements, and relevant documents to ensure accuracy in tax filings
  • Calculate taxes owed, identify deductions, and advise on credits to minimize liabilities
Client Interaction and Consultation
  • Engage with clients to understand their financial situations and tax requirements
  • Conduct meetings to discuss tax returns, addressing any queries and offering comprehensive explanations
  • Provide personalized tax advice and strategies to optimize clients' financial outcomes
Compliance and Regulation Adherence

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; or equivalent experience
  • Valid CPA licensure
  • 5+ years of personal and business tax preparation experience preferred
  • Understanding of investments and financial planning strategies
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and accurately
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Self-starter, problem solver, goal-oriented, and a team player
