POSITION TITLE: Laundry Attendant
REPORTS TO: Assistant General Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring that the hotel laundry room
is kept properly stocked with fresh clean linens, as well as
cleanliness of the hotel
LAUNDRY ATTENDANT DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sort towels, linens, blankets...etc for washer,
Remove stains from badly soiled linen using proper
Operate washers and dryers properly following the correct codes for usage of corresponding cleaning chemicals.
Fold linens to hotel standards and keep them stocked, and organized in their designated places.
Occasionally take trash out from the laundry room.
Wash bed wraps, duvets, mattress pads, and blankets in
accordance with hotel standards
Keep laundry neat and clean
Assist housekeepers in cleanliness of hotel
Assist with cleaning and up-keeping of storage areas
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $8.00-8.50
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Weekends required
One week paid vacation after a year
Two days off
