Job Title: Hotel Front Desk Associate

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Hotel Front Desk Associate. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and delivering exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, and possesses excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This position requires working in the evenings and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities:
1. Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
2. Provide efficient and personalized check-in and check-out services, including handling payments and issuing room keys.
3. Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or take messages as necessary.
4. Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring their needs are met.
5. Maintain a strong knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to provide accurate information to guests.
6. Handle guest’s special requests, such as room upgrades, special amenities, or arranging transportation.
7. Process and manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately and efficiently.
8. Balance and reconcile financial transactions, including cash, credit card payments, and direct billing, at the end of each shift.
9. Prepare and distribute reports, including occupancy reports, arrival/departure lists, and revenue summaries, to management and other departments.
10. Conduct night audit duties, including checking the accuracy of guest accounts, completing end-of-day tasks, and preparing the hotel for the next day's operations.
11. Ensure the safety and security of guests and the hotel property by enforcing appropriate policies and procedures.
12. Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel staff to address issues and provide exceptional guest experiences.
13. Perform administrative duties, such as filing, faxing, and photocopying, as needed.

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in hospitality or related field is a plus.
2. Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role preferred.
3. Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) and night audit procedures is advantageous.
