Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented part time weekend Hotel Night Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of daily financial transactions, providing exceptional guest services during overnight hours, and maintaining smooth hotel operations through effective communication and organization. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with hospitality management experience and a passion for guest relations to contribute to a welcoming and efficient environment.

This position is primarily weekends Saturday and Sunday from 11pm-7am

Responsibilities

Conduct nightly audits of hotel financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments

Prepare and review daily revenue reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness

Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during overnight hours with professionalism and courtesy

Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone and in person, providing exceptional customer service

Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls efficiently and courteously

Address guest concerns or issues with tact and professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction

Maintain security protocols by monitoring the premises during overnight shifts

Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and reporting as needed

Collaborate with front desk staff to ensure seamless guest experiences throughout the hotel

Skills

Strong background in hospitality management or hotel operations

Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor

Experience with night audit procedures

Experience with hotel pms system (SynXis) a plus

Knowledge of front desk operations, guest services, and hotel policies

Effective phone etiquette and proficiency in multi-line phone systems

Ability to handle guest relations with tact, patience, and professionalism

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy during financial reconciliation

Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining alertness and professionalism
