Job description

Autumn makes best-in-class digital marketing accessible to independent hotels, B&Bs, resorts, and more. We're passionate about supporting this underserved segment of hoteliers so these unique properties can continue to thrive for generations to come.

We're founded by repeat entrepreneurs with deep hotel experience and backed by Tier 1 venture capital firms, having raised the largest seed round in hotel tech history. We're a tight-knit team based in New York City, working in-person out of our waterfront office in Williamsburg. We're currently in stealth and will share more live.

The Role

Autumn is hiring a customer-facing leader to own relationships end-to-end - from the first discovery conversation through ongoing customer success. You'll run consultative sales calls with independent hotel owners and operators, guide them toward the right solution, follow up thoughtfully, and help move deals to close.

This multifaceted role is ideal for someone who is exceptionally warm and credible with relationship-driven customers, loves being close to the customer, and is energized by hands-on execution with the latest AI technology that allows our early-stage company to move at an accelerated pace.

What You'll Do

  • Lead consultative sales conversations with prospective customers, building trust quickly and guiding owners through evaluation and decision-making.
  • Run a high-quality sales process end-to-end: discovery, product positioning, follow-up, objection handling, and closing.
  • Partner closely with the founding team to refine messaging, learn from sales conversations, and shape our go-to-market approach and process.
  • Help build and improve the growth engine over time: workflows, outbound messaging, lead-quality feedback loops, and operational rigor.
  • Help refine the systems you work within - outbound, follow-up, and lead-quality feedback loops - improving them as you go.
  • Translate customer needs into action by identifying patterns in objections, pain points, and desired outcomes and feeding that back into product and go-to-market.
What We're Looking For
  • 3-7 years of closing experience in sales or a hybrid customer-facing role - especially in relationship-driven, trust-based selling.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills: warmth, polish, and the ability to build rapport quickly (without being "sales-y").
  • A natural, independent learner who enjoys getting up to speed on new tools and workflows and running with them.
  • Genuinely energized by AI: you like reaching for the latest AI and automation tools to work faster, and you're comfortable in a stack that evolves quickly.
  • Analytical and adaptive: you think critically, notice what's working across conversations, and adjust your approach to keep moving toward your goals.
  • Highly reliable and self-directed: detail-oriented, accountable for outcomes, and confident working with a good degree of autonomy.
  • Strong discovery skills and trustworthy judgment: you listen closely, ask great questions, and guide customers to the right solution.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and moving fast; you're execution-oriented and willing to do the work.
What This Role Is Not
  • A transactional, high-volume SDR role.
  • A heavily scripted "SaaS-y" sales motion.
  • A strategy-only position. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where most of your time is spent in the core sales motion - calls, emails, and follow-ups - with room to help improve how we work along the way.
Preferred (Not Required)
  • Hospitality experience (independent hotels strongly preferred), short-term rentals, or experience selling into hospitality.
  • Familiarity with hotel operations and performance levers (e.g. revenue management, distribution, OTAs, booking engines, direct booking strategy).
  • Digital marketing experience (SEM/paid search, SEO, websites), especially in a performance-oriented context.
  • Hotel tech company or early-stage / 0-to-1 experience.
  • Spanish fluency a strong plus.
What We Offer
  • Beautiful private office in Williamsburg, New York
  • Stipend for lunch and fitness, and top-tier medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • A front-row seat to building an AI-native vertical SaaS company
  • A role with room to grow as you build skills and experience
  • Real exposure to top venture-backed startup operation

If you're excited about hotels, love building relationships, and enjoy rolling up your sleeves, we'd love to hear from you.

Location

This role is five days a week in person in New York City and candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
