As The Rhyland Hotel prepares for its grand opening in summer 2026, we are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to support the launch and growth of our dynamic hotel. This landmark boutique hotel in Flushing, NY, will feature luxury accommodations, two cutting-edge restaurants serving Modern Asian American cuisine, and a large banquet hall designed to host premier events in the market.

About the Role:
The Sales Manager will play a key role in driving revenue across all segments, including corporate, group, and social events. This position is ideal for a proactive sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to be part of a pre-opening team. The Sales Manager will work closely with hotel leadership to establish market presence, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the overall success of the property.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively solicit and secure new business across corporate, group, and social segments
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, and event planners
  • Support the execution of the hotel's sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue goals
  • Conduct site tours, client meetings, and presentations to showcase the hotel's offerings
  • Manage and respond to RFPs, inquiries, and leads in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with revenue management and operations teams to optimize pricing and availability
  • Assist with pre-opening sales initiatives, including market research, account development, and brand positioning
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, accounts, and pipeline within CRM systems

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager, Sales Executive, or similar role within a hotel or hospitality environment
  • Minimum 3-5+ years of progressive hotel sales experience, preferably in a full-service or upscale property
  • Pre-opening experience is a plus, with the ability to contribute to building a sales strategy from the ground up
