The Element by Westin Albuquerque Uptown is seeking a Part-Time Night Auditor to join our team!

As our hotel completes its final stages of renovation, you'll be part of a fresh, modern property designed to deliver a fantastic guest experience.

Position Overview:

As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of hotel financials, maintaining guest satisfaction during overnight hours, and keeping the property secure and organized. You'll also act as the main point of contact for late-night guests, providing assistance with check-ins, check-outs, and any guest needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Services & Front Desk Operations:

    • Assist with check-in and check-out processes, ensuring smooth and friendly interactions.
    • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
    • Be knowledgeable about local amenities (restaurants, gas stations, attractions, etc.).
  • Night Audit & Financial Tasks:

    • Complete and verify all audit paperwork and shift reports accurately.
    • Balance daily revenue and expense transactions.
    • Process and verify credit card transactions according to company policies.
    • Perform nightly server backups and prepare express checkout folios.
  • Hotel Security & Safety:

    • Ensure the hotel is secure by monitoring for any suspicious activity.
    • Perform routine property walks to confirm guest and staff safety.
  • Communication & Reporting:

    • Communicate relevant shift information to the General Manager and morning desk staff.
    • Maintain accurate room status inventory.
  • Maintain Guest Satisfaction:

    • Ensure guests feel welcome and valued throughout their stay.
    • Resolve any late-night guest issues promptly and professionally, requesting management assistance when necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Prior hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred but not required.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with financial data.

  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.

  • Ability to work independently and stay alert during overnight hours.

  • Must pass a successful background check.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

  • Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.

  • Comfortable working overnight shifts.
