What You'll Do
As our Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for generating new business while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. Your focus will include proactive sales efforts, market development, and revenue growth.
Responsibilities include:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
  • Prospect, qualify, and secure new business opportunities through proactive sales efforts.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate, social, education, religious, and small meeting clients.
  • Conduct outside sales calls, networking events, hotel tours, and client presentations.
  • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities to increase market share.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales and hotel leadership on forecasting and revenue strategies.
  • Prepare weekly sales activity reports and monthly production updates.
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, community events, and industry functions.
  • Effectively communicate the hotel's value and competitive advantages through proposals and presentations.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline while consistently meeting activity and production goals.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven hotel sales experience with a history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong "hunter" mentality with a passion for developing new business.
  • Excellent networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining organized and goal-oriented.
  • Experience with Wyndham hotels is highly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel for sales calls, trade shows, workshops, and networking opportunities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
